AFC Fencers Compete...and win!

 Summer Nationals - Atlanta, Georgia July 2010

We are proud to announce that AFC fencers received five national medals in all three weapons across many age categories this July at Summer Nationals.

Garrett McGrath - 1st Place Y-14  Men's Epee

Natalie Vie - 1st Place DIV IA Women's Epee

Teresa McBryan - 8th Place DIV III Women's Foil

Ruth Dodge- 7th Place Veteran Women's Foil

Rachelle Arama- 3rd Place Veteran Women's Saber

We are also very excited by  Alex Opechowski's 16th Place in DIV II Women's Epee, Garrett McGrath's 26th Place U16 Men's Epee and 31st Place finish in DIV IA Men's Epee, as well as Wyatt Smith's 31st Place in Y14 Men's Epee. Well done!

Teresa McBryan (second from right) earns a 5th place medal at the 2010 Arnold Fencing Classic in the Y-14 foil event.  The tournament was held in Columbus, Ohio in March.  

AFC members compete in local, Regional Youth Circuit, North American Circuit, and World Cup events!
